March '08: The XHF Night of Champions VII was a historic night. The show started with Zero Tolerance defeating Kevin Hardaway in a brutal match. Jayson Matthews retained the Hardcore title against the demonic Mark Evil. The Dark Parade defeated there old enemies the Chris & Chris Connection. Obsidian retained the Junior Heavyweight championship in a fatal fourway ladder match with Kris Quake, Nelly Angel, and Minibadboy. Destruction defeated Reeshi in a grudge match. Scorpion won the European title from his partner Rob Arnold by pinning Joey Hawke who was on a team with Congo the Destroyer. "The Boyhood Dream" Doc defeated the bad boy Rat Bastard in an "Unsanctioned No DQ match. Spike Kane defeated Joe Everyman in a close match. The Tron's stopped the Borg's attempt at taking over...THE FUTURE! Steve Awesome won the U.S. title from Price. Tara defeated Dagger and T-Bird in a triple threat match. Reckless Jack did the impossible and beat Hardcore Harry in a Master of Horrors match. The Young Guns barely retained the Tag Team titles in a fourway tornado tag match with Dirty Deal, Testament, and Heat of the Storm. Gravedigger defeated Red Fusion. Chris Kanyon somehow retained the X*Crown Championship in a Seven Deadly Sins match agains MGK, JFK, Death Trap, Rage, AJ Phoenix, and Kuroi. In the main event, Mongo defeated Mr. X three falls to two in a Flawless match for the vacant XHF World Heavyweight Championship that saw both men a bloody mess and half the structure torn down. What happens from here? Without a TV deal for the XHF, you can't find out. This is the end of the road for the XHF, but it was a great journey. Thanks for watching, see you around!
